Angry Birds News! N900 Updates, Angry Birds Seasons for Symbian and Plush Toys!
These could have been separate posts but since it has taken me so long to get around to posting them let’s do a quick summary:
- N900 users, Minhaz on talk.maemo.org has found an update for Angry Birds.
- Symbian^3 users can now get Angry Birds Seasons on Ovi Store for £1.50!
- We’re getting a Angry Birds plush toy from WOMWorld/Nokia 😀
Nokia N900 Angry Birds Updates. Minhaz via resident “bird” Eagle Eyed Jim.
Symbian^3 users, celebrate the holidays with Angry Birds Seasons! Cheers Fahoum (and Jim)!
And finally, on Wednesday there was a buzz or chirp on the tweets as a mini competition on what would an Angry Bird say (tweeting #AngryBirdtweets)
How cool is the pic below! Such an iconic piece of mobile history. You know they’d make perfect gifts this Christmas. Clever revenue streams. The angry birds plush toys are cool too :p (haha jk)
Where is the promised update for the symbian phones? I finished all the levels a while ago.
angry birds plush toys are lovely
Angry Birds..hehe…really cool, funny and pleasant game…that being said I’m still only half way through it on my N900.I don’t play it all that often..hmmm…I’ll still buy the new levels though. 🙂
I found quite a few times the game just quit itself as I just press the home button. Any other experienced this?
No, actually Firefox is the only app I have problems with. It’s very slow, but works. Angry Birds is very stable for me.
I’m not impressed at all tbh. I thought this was supposed to be a free update for people who paid £3 for the original? If I have to pay another 1.50 for this thats £4.50!! for a game android users get for free and iOS users for £0.59…
Not sure was there anything to find for N900 for this update. At least my N900 did pop-up me info that there is update for my OVI app (angry birds).
but no seasons for N900 😦
Seasons is only for Symbian^3 devices.
In US dollars, its only $1.00 more then the iPhone version. I think showing Rovio that Symbian is a profitably platform to develop for is worth that extra $1. Vote with your wallets, as they say.
I still haven’t beat the original one yet.
i think its no big deal, so it costs 1.50 pounds, but you get a LOT of fun! and android in game advertisement would drive me crazy, id rather pay one time the 4.50£! have you seen the advertisements on android they’re appearing everytime you start a new level, really annoying! i think its a great game and a fair price.
