Video: Armin Van Buuren gig and Nokia N8 party in Dubai (Filmed by Nokia N8 – Crazy Low Light Win)

Below is a video of Armin Van Buuren, Dutch Trance DJ and Producer and his army of fans in white at a N8 party in Dubai.

We’ve seen Nokia N8 videos many times before but this one is ridiculously good quality in low light.

Great N8 clips + some really good editing + switch track audio = excellent result.

lol I only just pressed publish and was immediately editing correcting after seeing that stupidly annoying (and oh so pretty UI pre2). How did you notice it so quickly and at all? 😮

That was CRAZY AWESOME! Seriously, It’s hard to believe it was filmed on a phone given the fact that it was a very low-light condition. I smell iPhone 4 users burning! I’m pretty sure Nokia N8 marks a point in time where we would look back 10 years from now and say, “Gee, N8 really revolutionized Smartphone camera performance!”

Btw, I noticed that MANY of the chicks in that video were FREAKIN’ hot! 😛

What Nokia REALLY need to do is tape an N8, and iPhone 4 and a couple of the best Androids together, film in HD on all of them simultaneously, and then stick the videos up (AND PUBLICISE THEM which Nokia still don’t seem to get).

WE know only an N8 could do this video well, but average punter doesn’t have a clue – he just assumes other phones that can do HD will be just as good for lighting, audio etc. and you can’t blame them. Nokia need to make it FAR more BLATANTLY obvious just how good the N8 is with more direct head to head comparisons (and not done by people who don’t have a clue like that chap from Engadget who shouldn’t be allowed to test any more cameras!).

This is the very first time I doubt all of the footage is actual shot with an N8.
Don’t get me wrong I believe the N8 is capable of some awesome stuff (want it because of it) but there are some shots where it is very, very hard to believe that the image came out of the N8.

Probably one of those cases where you have to actually see it to believe it. But it is astoundingly good stuff. Can’t wait to renew my contract with an N8.

I suppose there is used an external microphone? Each phone that I used in te past at a concert the microphone became overloaded.

that film does not have live audio. Just music track put in the edit.

Still worth noting that the N8 has a pair of revolutionary microphones as well. MUCH MUCH better than most other phones.

but can they handle +100dBm ?
That would be nice when visiting a pop concert.

I filmed this with my n97, which records audio worse then my n93, yet it did the job, I’m confident the n8 will perform adequatly ;D
