@EldarMurtazin’s June tweet right about the Arm based Nokia Z500? – Nokia MeeGo tablet makes appearance on Ovi Store

Back in June Eldar Tweeted about the existance of the Nokia z500 Arm based tablet which he said was nothing special. This was also the time when he said that the N8 camera was nothing special as his particular proto N8 was not the same as final N8s. (No big sensor or wide angle lens).

What’s interesting is that the Z500 makes an odd appearance at the Ovi Store meaning it actually exists (and oddly before any announcement and without Nokia taking this down after being up for so long). If it’s MeeGo Tablet, I want some experience similar to the Pre-Alpha UI.

So….will we get some Nokia Tablet Love in the upcoming MeeGo Conference?

THANKS TO Zak and Cherukuri Tarun for the heads up!

Sorry why are we interested in anything Eldar has to say any more? He has been completely discredited with his lies and his blind Nokia hate.

    Next story please.

Because he seems to have a good source and leak products long before launch, even if his opinions about them are irrelevant.

Eldar has got obsolete product leaks, which were almost always early phase prototypes and never went to market.

We have seen how N8 went. According to my source, the leaked N9 is not the final product either. About this tablet, you guys just wait and see…

Just let us know if the Russian Police take the “tweeter” into custody for corporate espionage. At that point, you’ll get plenty of site traffic.

…….but its running Meego ….so its basically the best tablet out there, lets be honest really honest , ios and android ….tablet pc operating systems are not. So that leaves just windows , and it might work on touch , but even slimmed down its heavy.

Long live the rise of the Meego tablets

Chances are it will be launched/presented at the MeeGo conference. What else do they have to show besides software. Wasn’t the N900 launched at a Maemo conference?

      Z500 with N8-like optics, 7/8″ AMOLED display dual-core TI OMAP4. 512MB RAM. Yes please.

I can tell you it won’t be showed at meego conference. meego conference is developer oriented.

Originally, they planed to announce the N9 in the mid Oct and show it at the conference. But recently they made a decision of design change.

I don’t know about the tablet thing. But the sudden pop-up of this tablet look a bit weird to me, unless the design change did not affect tablet at all.

By design change you mean UI? Hardware redesign seems unlikely due to testing etc.

Design change is courtesy of mr. Skillman I presume?

I know, but was the N900 not launched at last year’s Maemo conference? Which was also developer oriented?

Correct me if I’m wrond cause I’m not sure about it.

But who knows what will happen, I for one would happily buy a tablet with MeeGo made by Nokia.

Maemo was more like nokia OS. However we shall see. the idea is that they want to lower the time between announcement and release, and I can tell you that meego for mobile is not ready for mass market.
On the other hand meego for netbooks is ready with few bugs from what I seen. If meego for tablets is based on meego for netbooks with different UI then we might have a surprise and see a meego tablet from nokia by the end of the year.

btw nokia should name the tablet in a different way. Nokia T10 (T from tablets) or Nokia T1 🙂

A Nokia Meego Tablet? If it comes with flash 10.1 and plays divx and xvid files then I’ll definately get one.I think 2011 will bring some cool Nokia goodies.

Decent amount of inbuilt memory, decent SoC (OMAP4) and a decent price (iPad-like or cheaper) for a Wifi only model and I’ll get one as well.
