Nokia N8 available for Preorder in the Philippines – 23,669PHP (~340GBP)

Nokia Philippines has the Nokia N8 available for preorder for 23,699 (Suggested Retail Price) That’s around 340GBP – 80GBP cheaper than standard Nokia UK SIM Free price (though around the same for Pay And Go most likely).

Currently only with SMART it seems. Most likely you can pick it up at decent prices unlocked at Green Hills. I can’t wait to go back next summer to see how S^3 handsets are doing (what with C7, E7, C6-01 possibly being available there too – though X7 and N9 may already be there come summer time – anyway)

Interestingly, bringing up the reviews shows us the awesome Rita @khouryrt

N8 industrial design was patented. It is not easy for other manufacturers to leapfrog N8 in a short period, say 12-18 months, even 24-36 months in the upper bound.

I just signed a contract with vodafone for the N8. The plan is 50€/Month, including the cost for the N8, free mobile internet, free mobile calls to same network and free landline calls, free SMS and free MMS. Plus there is a special discount of 25% on the whole billed amount for 24 months. So if I don’t make any calls to mobiles out of vodafone (which is the only thing that costs extra) I will pay 37,50/Month. Thought that was pretty cheap… I’m in Germany – how are the prices over in GB and other countries?

it does have issues about this very expensive phone here in the Philippines, I have bought N8 last Nov 16 at the price of php 22,400 and the first day i used it i noticed that it has a fluctuating network signal unstable.. experienced drop calls from calls abroad , and short battery life .. and the worst part after 3 days my phone keeps on rebooting.. i went to the store that i bought this phone for replacement for it’s very frustrating this is the first time i bought an expensive phone from Nokia and experienced this frustrating problem,,, the sales clerk told me that they have to send the phone for testing to Nokia Care Center and there they will only decide if they will replace the unit.. They should replace it right there and then but they refuse they said that only the Nokia will decide .. I also noticed that this phone can surf the Internet and can download files but the problem is this They don’t have the anti virus software for this piece of crap .. then why do they have to release this Thing if they are not yet ready to provide the important software ” anti Virus” didn’t they anticipate this that this Phone is not immune to viruses.. Nokia Think about This!! you bunch of retards!!! replace my phone not just fix it or upgrade
