New handsets on the show floor under wraps #NokiaWorld

We’re waiting at the Press Corner for the 9am keynote. Lo and behold at the demo corner some Nokia N8s, and a couple of hidden gems. What are they? 😀

I’m sure it will be nigh on impossible to have some time with these two. But whilst we’re in the keynote I hope they switch some of the older handsets on show for today’s newly announced devices.

I would like to see nokia allowing symbian^3 owners get an update to symbian^4 which is highly plausible …

Agreed. Plus, focus more on the software than just the hardware. Make the UI look very smooth and a pleasure to use with NO LAG at all coz people (especially north Americans) love transitions and stuff.
Bring variety in how the products look, even if they are a part of the same series.
Release the variants of a particular phones with the original ones. Eg. Release N8 with the 32 GB and QWERTY version (if real)
And establish yourself in North America. Don’t just focus on Europe and Asia when making phones

Don\t understand why people insist the upgradablity from S3 to S4. People have to focus on the most important thing that Nokia should revolution

Nokia make the revolution change of Symbian UI. People should not afraid the Symbian 3 would not be supported anymore once Symbian 4 products are ready. I consider it is a suicide as Nokia will sell a lot of Symbian 3 family products and the classic super camera phone N8-00. I am pretty sure Nokia will continue the support. I am not a Nokia boss, don’t count my words though.

if you’re going to charge an arm and a leg for a device, then make sure its chock full of cutting edge tech, no more 360×240 screens(and im veiwing a 12mp image on this screen? gtfo), or skimping out on ram or processor speed.

Nokia needs to save the bullets for Christmas sales. I guess it will only show those leaked phones. It makes sense and I can understand.
