One of the Swype devs said they didnt list the 5530XM as they didn’t have one to test with. However, I have can verify that it installs without any issues on my wife’s 5530 and works great!

I’ve got it running on my 5530 and I’m not sure what to make of it thus far. On one hand, it’s certainly nice to have another option to the standard keyboard, but it seems to be a little too difficult to use with the 5530’s tiny screen. The keys are really small…and having a resistive screen doesn’t help either. Hopefully, in a few days I’ll adapt.

    Wow, it’s so fast!
I experience a very similar keyboard which I downloaded from the OVI store, called SlideIT.
You can download it directly from the developer site :http://mobiletextinput.com/Product/SlideIT/symbian/download.php

I’ve heard multitouch keyboard is on the N8 (yes I know some pre-release firmware and demos of the N8 did not have it).

The N8 supports multitouch yes. But it is the software keyboard has yet to be upgraded to support multitouch typing.

Yep. And I’m saying exactly that – N8 will support multitouch keyboard despite what Nokia said back in April.

You’ll find out if you watch that video. 😉

I dont move my hand above the word though, it only done it after I set it to “Capitalise” and then turned it off and ever since then the second word has capitalised. Maybe a bug?
