Video: Nokia C6 video review

Next up is a 2 part US video review by Smartphoneenvy of the Nokia C6, the ‘budget’ version of the Nokia N97 mini.

As noted in the video unboxing:

C6-00 Tech specs

C6-00 INFO Forum Nokia

Carphone Warehouse UK still lists the Nokia C6 as coming soon

Nokia Shop has the C6 available for £289. But it’s worth noting buying from Nokia direct is more expensive. E.G. In the UK, the £79.99 Nokia C3 is listed as £119.00, so expect the C6 price to be much cheaper that what Nokia has listed.

ya u say the right..this is the budget version of n97mini

but n97mini is actually priced (almost here) as 300eur or low so same price +/- of this C6…off course at the same price i certanly go for the N97MINI: better spec and better materials(alluminium) and design!

    ot:
jay do you know something about nokia E6?? (IF c6 and x6 are symbian1 maybe e6 shall be S1 too..IMHO):)

Overpriced IMO, It shouldn’t cost more than 180 euro.

    Old technology.

I think they could have fit in a slightly larger screen. the area at the bottom is wasted. Also, I think they could have made it a little cheaper. Otherwise its cool, LOVE the qwerty keyboard!

It recently showed up in the inventory system of a major US tech distributor that I use at work. Their wholesale prices for Nokia phones are always slightly higher then what retailers like Amazon and Newegg actually sell the phones for, but it was around $260 US wholesale. I imagine it will sell for around $249 from the major vendors. Ship ETA was currently showing as August 2nd.

Outdated, yes. However, it looks like the price might be right. Especially if Nokia has rebates on it like they did many of their phones 4th quarter of last year.
