Video showing off Social Networking on Nokia N8

Nokia has released a new Video showing off the Nokia N8’s Social networks integration which is starting to look nice

You can see the video below

[Vimeo=http://vimeo.com/12615949]

The UI for the contacts app is looking really nice as well, it seems to me there are some UI improvements that Nokia haven’t showed off yet and didn’t show when the phone was demonstrated to the press. Then again with at least another month to go I expect some more UI changes even if they are minor

BTW have I ever said that Nokia make some of the best ads ever whenever I am bored I can sit for an hour on youtube just watching past Nokia ads LOL 🙂

    They’ve been hiding things !!
    It looks pretty nice, will be interesting to see whether it works well in practice.
    Would definitely be a promising sign for S^4 etc

    Was writing about this but got distracted by the antennagate and the magic Steve spins to get iSheep to offer their asses to him.

    Does this mean that Ovi will finally get control of all my other social network accounts like it should have from the beginning, i.e. a single sign in? And I like how Ovi is depicted as some indie/emo dude, ha.

      I hope so makes sense, there is that Social Networking app included in the N8 but Nokia haven’t showed it off yet properly, maybe they haven’t finished it off yet

      hahaha the antennagate thing is HILARIOUS, can’t believe that people are actually buying into their bull.

      Regardless, it would appear that the social networking app is integrated into a few different parts of the OS including contacts much like android with facebook and gtalk sync-ing to the default contacts application.

      Looks like you’ll be able to keep track of twitter, msn, yahoo, and twitter from here.
      Add skype into it and I’m SOLD.
