ChipperMist has got his hands on a 5235 and has provided a video overview along with an unboxing and Ovi Store demo.

The Nokia 5235 is a strupped down 5800, but with 2MP camera (instead of 3.2mp carl zeiss) and no WiFi.

Note, that the 5235 is different from the 5230 because (supposedly) 5235 comes with music.

    PROS- good design,fantastic display[360X640],nokia email,faster internet[best I’ve seen],GPS,quick n responsive UI,affordable price at around 8500 rs.
    CONS- poor camera,not so good music,no wi-fi [big mistake]

      Well fed up of seeing opinions for nokia 5235 in an unprofessional way , it hurts me lot when people say there is no wi-fi in this phone and camera quality is poor, well to those people i would like to answer now

      For a price around INR 8500 how can they think of wi-fi connectivity coz nokia has compromised by not fitting with wifi chip and opting for gps receiver and a-gps.
      Next coming to sound clarity speakers are of mono output which inevitably doesn’t match up with great output , but when played with proper headphones { that is also provided by nokia itself i.e., WH-701 ) provides any amazing output like xpress music phones.

      Many of people forget that this phone has the popular symbian S-60 5th edition operating system with 434mhz processor which performs tasks in blazing speeds and has wide variety of applications such as antivirus, quickoffice, computer like browsers , dictionaries , java , flash lite 3.0and much more.

      I would like to add that , this phone uses capacitive touch screen technology which has kinetic scrolling for smooth navigation experience and 3 G network ready. One of the amazing smart phone nokia has released for a reasonable and well affordable price with tons of features . If you are planning to buy this phone just buy it without second thought if u are ready to compromise with 2mp camera (even it provides good clarity like e-63 with flash)and without wifi.

    This is really a great buy within 800
    2mp camera , quick office , 3G , Superb vedio recording at 30 fps , a fantastic 16 million colour screen (HD) , and also a big screen

    so without hasitating GO FOR IT

    el celular nokia 5235 es feo en comparacion al samsung star pero es mucho mejor pero en movistar el nokia cuesta 130.990 y el samsung 99.990
